This is a new built 4-bedroom dwelling.

 

The inclined plot led us to the lowering of the parking space in front of the new house to the level of the road.I specified and designed three RC retaining walls with a minimum design life of 100 years.

 

The house sits on top of one of the retaining walls and it is designed with load-bearing double-leaf walls clad in featheredge weatherboards.

 

The first floor is designed with steel beams on the first-floor level in order to bridge the open-plan ground floor spaces and the roof is designed in timber.

 

The power-floated ground floor is specified to sustain no cracks of any origin and is designed to be completely thermal and damp insulated from the sub-base. The project is due to start shortly as Planning Approval is due to be granted.
