Sifnos

An existing old pottery with its almost dilapidated furnace was transformed into a vacation house, maintaining all the Cycladic architectural features of Sifnos and altering the structural elements to accommodate the new use.

The dome on the roof of the structure, made using traditional techniques, was treated and strengthened.

The house is formed in two levels with access to public space from both levels. The levels are connected by a new timber staircase that was retro-fitted in this tiny-spaced development.
